Discussion III – Race and Ethnicity: the case of Miami Demographically and politically, the Anglo/”white” population is the dominant racial/ethnic group in the United States. How is Miami different from the rest of the country in this regard? Do people here tend to have different sorts of experiences regarding how they are treated due to their race or ethnicity in ways that might not be the case in other parts of the US?
