As you know, this formal assignment is to write a 4-6 (full) page synthesis / analysis.
You’ll focus on The Line Becomes a Riverin combination with one of the previous texts we read in class. (You might think of this as a more sophisticated version of a “compare/contrast” essay.)You’ll need a specific focus for your analysis. One big note: it’s not enough to say that the texts are “similar and different.” We all already know that without even having to read the books. You’ll want to get into a specific analytical pointand explore it over the course of the paper. Remember, all formal writing assignments for this class should be 4-6 full pages in length, not including the required Works Cited page
